drum sander adjustment help

Hello all,
I wonder if you could help me, I bought a drum sander recently it's second hand and looks like a old proformax (16-32)as the height adjustment is in inches, I need to adjust the horizontal on the drum, it's sanding a little less on the open side, my mate has a newer one which has a nut and wheel ajustment under the top part mine doesn't have this, neither can i see a way to adjust it at all?
can any body help?

If it is the model I think it is you need to shim the mounting bolts with washers, does the drum assembly bolt to the bottom hosing with four bolts ?

In which case put washer under the two outer drum assembly bolts to drop the open end and raise the closed end.

thanks for the help!!
I did think about shimming it but it seems a little primative compared to my mates newer model with the nice little wheel ajustment, still sometimes simple is best!!
I can't get the manual to download but I've saved the site and I'll try again later, good site anyway!
never thought about it ridging on wider boards, should of I run a 24 x 36 oak board thought it a few weeks ago.
I'll run abit of wide wood and check how far out it is, if I can get it down to 0.004 I'll be well happy.

It's been a bit since I had my 16-32 but I had this problem (as well as many others) often. If you take two boards that you know are the same height and put them under the drum on either end. Then loosen the bolts on the closed end that hold the whole thing on. With the bolts loose it should "slip" into place and you can retighten them. Go snug on each bolt first then tighten one at a time so you reduce the risk of pulling the whole unit when you pull them tight.
